Purpose

This site is designed to facilitate the Kurdish arts in Christian Worship.

We want to help Kurdish believers to worship God with their own music and art forms, because it is their "Heart-Language", which they understand best.

Goals

First, we want to address and encourage Kurdish believers in Christ to use their art skills for worshiping God. This should also become a site of collaboration, where Kurds from all over the world can share their works for the Kingdom of God.

Second, we want to address and encourage foreigners working among Kurds to learn not only the Kurdish language, but also the Kurdish music and its other arts. Yes, there are some western songs translated into Kurdish. Some are even nice and loved, but they have never the impact that e.g. scripture sung in an old Hawrami tune would have...

Third, we also want to translate most of this site into Soranî. Would you like to help?

Fourth, in the future we also want to publish songs in Badhînî, Kurmanjî and Hawramî.
